2023 dynasty superflex rookie mock draft8/23/2023 Kendre Miller was a major catalyst for a TCU offense that shocked the nation. If Josh can get day two or better draft capital (currently projected in the 2nd), he’ll be a guy to target in the second round of your Superflex rookie drafts. Another thing I don’t think is discussed regarding Downs’ game is that he put up a contested catch percentage of ~72% this year, good enough for WR2 on the season (min 80 tgts). Downs had the fourth-best PFF receiving grade this year (min 80 tgts), and he had the second-best PFF receiving grade vs. He’s an early declare, early breakout, and a solid analytical producer. – 2.08 Josh Downs, WR 5’10” 175 North Carolinaĭowns quietly checks all the boxes except for him being on the smaller side, but so are quite a few of the 2023 wide receivers. Capital like that will have dynasty managers selecting him in the first round of rookie drafts. I talked to one scout in Mobile who said don’t be surprised if Tyjae goes in the first half of the third round of the NFL draft. One concern for Spears is the recovery from his ACL injury, but he displayed he was fully healthy. He had multiple highlight-reel plays on top of looking like the best offensive play there. The Tulane running back took full advantage of the week to get himself in front of scouts and media. Tyjae Spears has to be the hottest riser coming out of the Senior Bowl. ( /hlsec2Ki3j- Kyle Yates February 2, 2023 This is officially a Tyjae Spears fan account. He’s likely a satellite back/return specialist, but I wouldn’t discount his potential as a runner just because of his size, and he could return great value in leagues where special teams yards are counted. It will be curious to see what he clocks at the combine, most of his measured numbers are wind-assisted, but in 2021 he did clock in at 22.2 mph on a kick return. Fast and twitchy, he’s great at making guys miss, and his speed is top-notch. I was off of him when he was going in the mid-first. That said, the ceiling he provides here pushes him over others still available, like Josh Downs and Cedric Tillman for me. Boutte provides that in spades, and I’m far from his biggest fan. In the mid-second, I’m looking strictly for upside. Tank caught 62 passes in college and could develop that side of his game more in the NFL. He’s more than just a one-cut runner, though. Tank ran track in high school, and it shows. Tank Bigsby couldn’t possibly have a more fitting nickname. Coming away from this mock with potentially the top quarterback and tight end from the three spot puts a smile on this writer’s face. He combines gold production with quality athleticism, making him as safe a prospect as there is. Mayer is a rock-solid prospect that seems destined to hear his name called on Day 1 of the draft. While some very talented running backs and wide receivers are still on the board, I decided to head to the top of my tight end rankings. – 2.03 Michael Mayer, TE, 6’4″ 265 Notre Dame People are down on Evans right now, but he has a ridiculous amount of upside, and I love the value of getting him in the second round. But Judkins is a stud, and I’m not holding that against him. He spent his college career in a committee and, most recently, was outproduced by a 3-star freshman teammate. His rushing efficiency metrics are off the charts, and he has some of the most fun tape in the entire draft class. Zach Evans has all the talent in the world. If Hyatt makes that transition, he could be a draft day steal for fantasy managers and a lucky NFL team. The key to maximizing his explosive talent will be transitioning from the college spread offense to an NFL offense. ![]() ![]() Hyatt put up 67 receptions for 1269 yards and 15 touchdowns en route to winning the Biletnikoff Award as the best wide receiver in college football. ![]() he’ll be coveted by a lot of #NFL teams /HiQYFcSLfF- Ray G □ February 21, 2023Īfter two non-descript seasons at Tennessee, Jalin Hyatt exploded as a junior.
